Some Theatre Company will present Gruesome Playground Injuries by Rajiv Joseph, directed by Erryn Bard, running June 1st - 4th, 2017 at the Keith Anderson Community House - 19 Bennoch Rd, Orono.
Love can hurt...more often than not, the pain is emotional, but in the case of "Scar" crossed lovers, Doug and Kayleen, love hurts in a serious and physical way - as in, the pain that comes from cuts, scrapes and even lost body parts.
Spanning the course of 30 years, this couple's twisted and unhealthy romance is the focus of Rajiv Joseph's dark comedy, "Gruesome Playground Injuries."
Gruesome playground Injuries finishes up our 2016 - 2017 season, a season that has dealt with mature and important subject matter such as: mental health, suicide, and the human mind. Our last offering will be sure to take you on an adventure you will never forget. Note: Contains mature themes and language.
Gruesome Playground Injuries will be performed June 1st - 4th with performances Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7.30pm, Saturday and Sunday at 2pm.
