The Schoolhouse Arts Center is excited to announce the cast of "Clue, the Musical¸" its fall 2016 production, which includes a mix of Schoolhouse veterans and newcomers. Yes, the popular board game has come to the stage with a book by Peter DePietro, the music is by Galen Blum, Wayne Barker, and Vinnie Martucci, and the lyrics are by Tom Chiodo. The production is guided by two theater veterans, director Josie French of Lewiston, and musical director Rebecca Caron of Lewiston.

James Gaddis, from Westbrook, is Mr. Boddy, the charismatic host of the game, and the victim of the murder. Mia Foley Perron, from Westbrook, is Miss Scarlet, the sultry but shrewd former lounge performer. Kim Drisko, from Portland, is Mrs. Peacock, a wealthy socialite with five dead husbands. Topher Hascall, from Steep Falls, is Mr. Green, successful entrepreneur and con artist. Chris Roberts, from Portland, is Colonel Mustard, with much experience in love and war, or is he just making things up? Danny Gay, of Westbrook, is Professor Plum, super genius with a grudge. Sarah Flagg, from Gorham, is Mrs. White, the badly treated housekeeper. In the second half of the show, we meet Lisa Libby, from Parsonsfield, as the Detective, who interrogates the six suspicious suspects.

Presented with a 15 minute intermission, Audience members will pick the murderer, the weapon, and the room in which the murder takes place. But no one in the audience or the cast (except the victim) will know who, how, or where the deed is done, until revealed at the end. And there are 216 possible different endings at each performance!

Performances of Clue are on September 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, 25 and 30, as well as October 1 and 2. On Fridays and Saturdays the curtain time is 7:30 p.m., and Sunday matinees start at 2 p.m. The Schoolhouse Arts Center is located at 16 Richville Rd, Standish, ME 04084.
