The Ogunquit Playhouse will have you kicking up your heels for five spectacular musicals slated to hit the stage for the legendary theatre's 83rd season. The Ogunquit Playhouse is proud to be the first regional theatre in the U.S. to produce the smash hits Million Dollar Quartet and Sister Act as well as being among the first in the nation to bring the delightful musical comedy Nice Work if You Can Get It and the blockbuster musical Saturday Night Fever to the stage. Rounding out the 2015 season is the glamorous Broadway musical comedy classic Victor/Victoria. And once again the Ogunquit Playhouse and the Music Hall will partner to bring the quintessential holiday musical White Christmas to the historic Portsmouth stage, extending the Playhouse season all the way to December 20th!

Executive Artistic Director Bradford Kenney explains, "We are heading into my 10th anniversary season here at Ogunquit Playhouse and for that I wanted a lineup that included some of the most exciting dance shows and newest Broadway titles for our stage. Our good friend Sally Struthers will return to the Playhouse to play a temperance lady determined to rid New York City of bootleggers during prohibition in Nice Work If You Can Get It. And we are very excited to announce that Broadway's Hunter Foster will return to the Playhouse to direct Million Dollar Quartet. Hunter originated the role of Sam Phillips in the Broadway production. This will be the longest season in our history, culminating in a spectacular snow filled production of White Christmas at the Music Hall."

Rejoice! Opening the Ogunquit Playhouse season is the glorious Broadway musical comedy Sister Act, on stage May 20 to June 20. The hilarious musical follows Deloris Van Cartier, a wannabe diva whose life takes a surprising turn when she witnesses a crime and the cops hide her in the last place anyone would think to look-a convent! Under the suspicious watch of Mother Superior, Deloris helps her fellow sisters find their voices as she unexpectedly rediscovers her own. Featuring original music by Tony Award and 8-time Oscar award winner Alan Menken, Sister Act is a sparkling smash hit musical comedy that the New York Post called "ridiculously fun."

On stage from June 24 to July 18 is the 20th anniversary production of Victor/ Victoria, the musical-comedy based on the hit Blake Edwards film that starred Julie Andrews, Robert Preston and James Garner about a woman pretending to be a man pretending to be a woman. It's Paris 1934 in all its glitzy glory. Victoria is a down-on-her-luck nightclub singer until she is convinced by a gay impresario to masquerade as a female impersonator, "Victor." Hilarity and confusion ensue when Victor becomes an overnight sensation in the night clubs of Paris and attracts the attention of a macho Chicago gangster -- much to the dismay of his ditsy girlfriend, who gets dumped for Victor... or is it Victoria? The musical comedy includes an electrifying and moving score by Henry Mancini and the Broadway and touring sets and costumes. This classic musical comedy has all the glitz, all the glamour, all the laughs!

The delightful Nice Work If You Can Get It hits the stage July 22 to August 15 with Ogunquit's favorite comic actress Sally Struthers as the town temperance enforcer set against a gang of bootleggers. This madcap musical comedy is complete with the Broadway and touring sets and costumes. It takes place during the Roaring Twenties, where the champagne is flowing and the gin is fizzing with a cast of outrageous characters who gather in New York City to celebrate the wedding of a wealthy playboy. This brand-new musical was nominated in 2012 for 10 Tony Awards, winning two, and features a treasure trove of George and Ira Gershwin's most beloved songs including "But Not For Me," "Let's Call the Whole Thing Off," "I've Got a Crush on You" and "Someone to Watch Over Me."

Elvis, Jerry Lee, Perkins, Cash - They came together to make music. Their story made history. The Ogunquit Playhouse is the first regional theatre in the country to produce Million Dollar Quartet, on stage August 19 to September 19. Million Dollar Quartet is the Tony award-winning Broadway musical inspired by the electrifying true story of the famed recording session that brought together rock 'n' roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins for the first and only time for what would be one of the greatest jam sessions of all time. Featuring timeless hits such as "Blue Suede Shoes," "Great Balls of Fire," "I Walk the Line," "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On," "Fever," "Folsom Prison Blues," "Hound Dog" and more this thrilling musical brings you inside the recording studio with four major talents who came together as a red-hot rock 'n' roll band for one unforgettable night. It was Rock and Roll's best kept secret...until now!

The Ogunquit Playhouse is one of the first regional theatres in the nation to produce the mega-hit musical Saturday Night Fever with a newly revised book and musical arrangements that come to life on stage from September 23 to October 25. This fast paced high voltage musical will get you on your feet with its breathtaking and dazzling choreography and the songs from the chart topping soundtrack, including "Stayin' Alive," "How Deep is Your Love," "More Than a Woman," and "You Should Be Dancing!" Catch the fever all over again!

Building on the great partnership with the Music Hall in Portsmouth, the Ogunquit Playhouse will once again produce a holiday show for the historic theatre. The Irving Berlin classic White Christmas will be presented just in time for the holidays from December 9 to 20. Based on the beloved, timeless film, this heartwarming musical adaptation features seventeen Irving Berlin songs and a book by David Ives and Paul Blake. Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow two beautiful singing sisters to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil's former army commander. The dazzling score features well-known standards including "Blue Skies," "I Love A Piano," "How Deep Is the Ocean" and the perennial favorite, "White Christmas."
