Portland Ovations Presents THE TRUE STORY OF THE THREE LITTLE PIGS, 4/21

Portland Ovations brings Dallas Children's Theater's hilarious musical courtroom dramedy The True Story of the Three Little Pigs to Merrill Auditorium for a Family Series afternoon performance on Sunday, April 21st at 3pm.

Dallas Children's Theater, named one of Time Magazine's Top 5 Children's Theaters, picks up where Jon Scieszka and Lane Smith's famous book leaves off. Hear the wolf's side of the story in this in this rock Hip-Hop-ity musical: Alexander T. Wolf is accused of deplorable crimes, and he's about to face a jury of his piggy peers on trial. Presiding over the case is the Honorable Prudence Pig, a tough as nails judge with a weakness for musical theater. A fast-talking independent reporter named Lillian Magill is on the story, and she's determined to tell Al's side of the truth. But can Al ever hope for a fair trial? The audience decides the ending of this play - guilty or not guilty? A dynamite ensemble of triple threat talent brings this snout vs. muzzle trial to life in a performance Theaterjones.com calls, "...great fun for grownups and little piglets..."
