Portland Ovations Announces the Return of David Sedaris as Part of Upcoming 2013-14 Season

Aligning with the release of his new book, "Let's Explore Diabetes with Owls"on April 23rd, 2013, Portland Ovations has just announced that David Sedaris, one of America's pre-eminent humor writers will return to Portland's Merrill Auditorium on November 21st at 7:30 PM as part of the Portland Ovations upcoming 2013-14 season.

Grammy Award nominated American humorist, comedian, author and radio contributor, David Sedaris returns to Portland for an evening of cutting wit and social satire, sharing his latest book "Let's Explore Diabetes with Owls". The Washington Post has hailed Sedaris as, "one of America's most prickly, and most delicious, comic talents." Past titles, including the New York Times Bestseller "Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk," "When You Are Engulfed in Flames," "Barrel Fever," "Holidays on Ice," "Naked," "Me Talk Pretty One Day," and "Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim," have kept him at the forefront of American culture since his early days recounting his time as a Santaland elf.
