Performances are May 16-17, at 6:00 pm, and May 18 at 3:00 pm at the Bangor Opera House. The script, which incorporates all of the Alice stories from Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, led to the most successful dramatic version of this classic tale on Broadway. Under the direction of Jasmine Ireland, PTC's director of education and outreach, the highly innovative ensemble dance theatre piece is sure to delight audiences of all ages.
"Carroll's richly crafted fantasy begs enactment and comes to life vividly through the magic of theatre," said Ireland. "Our young performers have unleashed their imaginations to inhabit Alice's fantasy world, and it's been a joy to foster the innate creativity of our emerging talent. I am enormously proud of this production!"
