Tickets for the following events are now on sale:

The Grand Tour Plays the Highwaymen: A Tribute to Willie, Waylon, Johnny and Kris
February 23, 8 pm; February 24, 5 and 8 pm; February 25, 3 pm
The same band that paid toe-tapping tribute to George Jones in the fall of 2016 is returning to the Bangor Opera House to play the hits of The Highwaymen, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash and Kris Kristofferson. Frequently referred to as "the Mount Rushmore of country music," The Highwaymen was American country music's first bona fide supergroup, an epic quartet of outlaw country's pioneering stars. Led by guitarist and vocalist Larry Tobias of New York City, The Grand Tour features the multitalented Andrew Crowe, who graced the Opera House stage in Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash (2015), Rock of Ages (2016) and the George Jones tribute.

A Day in the Life: A Beatles Experience
April 7, 4 pm and 8 pm; April 8, 2 pm
Back by popular demand is the show that had sold-out houses twisting and shouting last winter! You say you want a revolution? Start here! Sing along to the Fab Four's hits you know and love: "I Want to Hold Your Hand," "Here Comes the Sun," "Strawberry Fields Forever," "Let It Be," and many more.

Twirly Whirly Burly-Q, Classic Burlesque with a Modern Twirl
May 18-19, 8 pm
Twirly Whirly Burly-Q will deliver a burlesque extravaganza that combines the nostalgia of vintage burlesque and the excitement of avant-garde theater. Celebrate sensuality, sexuality, the female form and good old-fashioned girl-power! The touring troupe includes Üla Überbusen, who captivated the theatre's audience on New Year's Eve 2016, and fellow award-winning performers Rosie Cheeks, Boo Bess, and James and the Giant Patsy.

The Kinsey Sicks "Things You Shouldn't Say"
July 13-14, 8 pm
This is the remarkable true story of four friends from San Francisco who had a life-changing epiphany at a Bette Midler concert that led to them to form The Kinsey Sicks in an effort to find joy during the darkest days of the AIDS crisis. Now they're sharing their hilarious, inspiring and at times heartbreaking tale, and showing that hatred and deceit can be fought with humor and heart. "Things You Shouldn't Say" was a smash hit Off-Broadway at New York's fabled SoHo Playhouse and the Manhattan Digest described it as "stuffed with gleeful irreverence and hilarious parodies ... [it] will leave you deeply moved and simultaneously amused." Come join America's Favorite Dragapella Beautyshop Quartet as they lead us all in resisting despair with laughter, integrity, and heroically high hair!
