PDP presents Cats at The STAR Theatre July 1-16.
Patrick Dorow Productions (PDP), the Seacoast's acclaimed, top-quality, live performance theater and education company, is thrilled to present Cats, the third longest-running show in Broadway history running July 1-16, 2016, at The Star Theatre in Kittery, Maine. Cats has been performed around the world and has been translated into more than 20 languages. A musical composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Cats is based on Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats by T. S. Eliot. The musical tells the story of a tribe of cats called the Jellicles and the night they make what is known as "the Jellicle choice" and decide which cat will ascend and come back to a new life. PDP is proud to welcome Christine (Dulong) Faulkner back to the stage as Grizabella! Kirk Simpson returns to PDP as Old Deuteronomy.
