Ogunquit Playhouse Cast Honored with Special Guests During HEARTBREAK HOTEL Rehearsal

As the world turns its attention to Graceland this week to honor the 40th Anniversary of Elvis Presley's passing, the Authentic Brand Group/Elvis Presley Enterprises visited the cast of the Ogunquit Playhouse world premiere production of Heartbreak Hotel during rehearsal in New York City today.

They got a sneak peak of the musical, Elvis' music, and his cultural impact on America as he became the King of Rock 'n' Roll. Pictured with Bradford T. Kenney, Ogunquit Playhouse Executive Artistic Director, are Floyd and Birgitte Mutrux, creators of the new musical; Jamie Bendell from Big Block LA; the cast and creative team of Heartbreak Hotel; Marc Rosen, SVP Business Development; Katie Jones, VP Entertainment; Jim Gibb, Creative Director for ABG.

Heartbreak Hotel, is on stage at the Ogunquit Playhouse in Ogunquit, Maine from August 30 to September 30. This world premiere musical features hit songs from the King himself as well as the legends who influenced his iconic music, with chart-toppers including "Blue Suede Shoes," "Tutti Frutti," "That's All Right Mamma," "Shake Rattle and Roll," and, of course, "Heartbreak Hotel."
