Portland Ovations has announced the line-up of local artists to perform at POP! (Portland Ovations Presents) the non-profits' annual fundraiser that benefits Portland Ovations' school and community-based arts-programs, Ovations Offstage.

Dartmouth Aire and Waynflete graduate Michael Odokara-Okigbo, who stole the show on the third season of NBC's The Sing Off, will perform at POP! Portland Ovations' annual fundraising event. Michael is a native of Portland who graduated from Waynflete in 2008, while there he sang in the school's choir and was part of the Boy Singers of Maine. At Dartmouth he was not only a part of the a cappella group the Dartmouth Aires but was also involved with the Dartmouth Gospel Choir and The Handel Society. Along with Michael several local artists will pop-up around the Portland Company venue through out the evening to perform, including a 317 Main Street Music Center ensemble, a group of P.A.T.H.S Arts Academy dancers and a troupe of Merriconeag Waldorf School circus artists.

POP! is a lively indoor street fair with delicious food provided from some of Southern Maine's top restaurants and pop-up music, dance and circus performances. The proceeds from POP! enables Ovations Offstage to offer free pre-performance lectures by local Maine experts prior to most Ovations' presentations; a School-Time Performance series that connects schools, teachers and students to the performing arts, as well as in-school workshops with artists and artist-educators; Masterclasses and workshops with visiting artists; arts happenings around town and study guides and other educational resources for students and educators.

POP! will be held on October 2nd at The Portland Company, 58 Fore Street in Portland and begins at 5:30pm. Tickets are $25 for Portland Ovations Members, $35 in advance for the general public and $40 at the door. To purchase tickets please call Portland Ovations at (207) 773-3150.
