Maine State Music Theatre (MSMT) kicks off the 2015 season with the heartwarming upbeat comedy THE FULL MONTY. This 10-time Tony Award-nominee is filled with honest affection, engaging melodies and a raucous mix of razor-sharp humor and toe-tapping pizazz, not to mention the most highly anticipated closing number in Broadway history! THE FULL MONTY runs tonight, June 3 - June 20, 2015.

"Funny and original songs, rich characters, and an accessible story - this show is all about heart," said MSMT's Artistic Director Curt Dale Clark.

Based on the Oscar-nominated film of the same name, this show has a warm heart at the center of all the playful fun. A group of unemployed steelworkers need to make some quick cash any way they can. They overcome fear, self-consciousness, anxiety and feelings of worthlessness to become the most unlikely group of exotic dancers.

This high-energy comedy with a book by Terrence McNally and music and lyrics by David Yazbek, stars Peter Matthew Smith as Jerry Lukowski, Austin Nedrow as Nathan Lukowski, Amanda Rose as Pam Lukowski, Jayson Elliott (last year's Big Bopper in Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story) as Dave Bukatinsky, MSMT favorite Charis Leos (reprising her 2006 MSMT role) as Georgie Bukatinsky, Jonathan Rayson as Harold Nichols, Chuck Ragsdale (also reprising his MSMT 2006 role) as Malcolm Macgregor, Kingsley Leggs as Noah "Horse" T. Simmons and Sandy Rosenberg as Jeanette Burmeister.

The supporting cast of THE FULL MONTY features Michael J. Austin as Ethan Girard, Laurie Wells as Vicki Nichols, Seth Danner as Buddy (Keno) Walsh, David Girolmo as Reg Willoughby, Mark Merritt as Tony Giordano, Jillian Jarrett as Estelle Genovese, Cary Michele Miller as Susan Hershey, Jordan Ross Weinhold as Marty/Minister, Jonathan Grunert as Teddy Slaughter, Brian Maurice Kinnard as Gary and Megan Elyse Fulmer as Delores/Molly.

The award-winning Donna Drake (MSMT's 2014 Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story) will direct and choreograph.

Music Director is Aaron McAllister and stage manager is Mark Johnson. Set design by Bob Klingelhoefer; costume design by Anthony Lascocskie, Jr.; sound design by Brett Rothstein.

Maine State Music Theatre will hold a FREE talkback "A Peek Behind The Curtain: The Full Monty" at Curtis Memorial Library in Brunswick, Maine, on June 10th at 12pm. Panel participants will include actors, administrative staff, technical staff and member(s) of the creative team. Audience participants will have an opportunity to learn about each member of the panel and ask questions about their involvement in the production. Audience members are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch for the event.

Maine State Music Theatre is located at Pickard Theatre on the Bowdoin College Campus in Brunswick. Ticket prices range from $43 to $70 and are available through the MSMT Box Office at 207-725-8769 or online at www.msmt.org.
