Maine State Music Theatre is introducing their new "Pay-What-You-Can Fridays" on July 2, July 23 and August 13, 2010. For both the matinee and evening performances of 'My Fair Lady' on July 2nd, 'Chicago' on July 23rd, and 'Spamalot' on August 13th, patrons will be able to pay what they can for any remaining seats available at the Pickard Theater. Purchases must be made in-person at the MSMT Box Office located inside the lobby of Pickard Theater to be eligible for the special.

Season ticket holders and those patrons who have pre-purchased individual tickets will not affected by the special. Only unsold, available seats will be sold at a pay-what-you-can price on a first-come, first-serve basis that day. The MSMT Box Office will open at 10am on July 2nd, July 23rd, and August 13th, with the special lasting as long as there are seats available. Show times are at 2pm and 8pm. "Pay-What-You-Can Friday" is a way for Maine State Music Theatre to encourage participation in the performing arts.

'My Fair Lady' runs June 30th through July 17th, 'Chicago' is from July 21st to August 7th, and 'Spamalot' begins August 11th and ends August 28th.
