Mad Horse Theatre Company closes its 29th Season with Pulitzer Prize Finalist OTHER DESERT CITIES, by John Robin Baitz.

Brooke Wyeth returns home to her affluent Palm Springs family home after a six-year absence to celebrate Christmas with her parents, her brother, and her aunt. Brooke announces that she is about to publish a memoir dredging up a pivotal and tragic event in the family's history -- a wound they don't want reopened. In effect, she draws a line in the sand and dares them all to cross it.

OTHER DESERT CITIES stars Mad Horse Company members Brent Askari, Janice Gardner, and Christopher Horton, along with Guest Artists Grace Bauer and Maureen Butler.

The play is directed by Company member Nick Schroeder. The production crew includes Allison McCall (Stage Manager), Jennifer Halm-Perazone and Marie Stewart-Harmon (Production Managers), Stephen Tesh (Set Designer), Anna Halloran (Costume Designer), Corey Anderson (Lighting Designer), and Stacey Collins (Graphic Designer).

OTHER DESERT CITIES runs April 30 through May 17, 2015, at the Mad Horse Theater, 24 Mosher Street, South Portland. Performance times are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at 7:30pm, and Sunday afternoons at 2pm. There will be an Opening Night Reception immediately following the Friday, May 1, performance.

Tickets are $20 for adults, and $15 for seniors/students. As always, every Thursday night is Pay What You Can, as available at the door. Reservations are strongly recommended. Purchase tickets online at www.madhorse.com or call 747-4148 for more information. Call to learn more about Group Rate specials.

During the run of OTHER DESERT CITIES, Mad Horse Theatre will be holding its annual Silent Auction. Bidding is encouraged before each performance and during intermission. Winners will be notified once the auction closes. Please come support live, local theatre.
