"The Music Man" is marching into town for a must-see theater experience for adults and children alike! L/A Community Little Theater announces the cast of "The Music Man". Tickets for this upcoming production opening October 19th and running through the 28th are available online and through the box office. The Music Man features Professor Harold Hill, con man and fast-talking salesman. He convinces the people of River City, Iowa, "Ya Got Trouble" and sells them on a young people's band and "Seventy-Six Trombones." Marian the Librarian's "Till There Was You" causes him to grow fond of her and the children. It's a score of favorites: "Goodnight, My Someone," "It's You," "Goodnight Ladies," "Pickalittle," "Gary, Indiana," "Wells Fargo Wagon," and many more.
L/A CLT's production of Meredith Willson's The Music Man is directed by Kay Warren. Kay is joined by an amazing production team including Music Director Paul G. Caron, Producer Jackie McDonald, Assistant Producer Sophie Wood, Stage Manager Aaron Louque, Costume Designer Kat Carney, Choreographer and Assistant Director Jake Boyce, Assistant Choreographer Carly Georgen, Prop Master Dan Burgess, Assistant Prop Master Emma Curtis, Set Decor Becca Tinkham, Lighting Design Richard Martin, Lighting Operator Matthew Conklin, and Sound Design and Operator Tom Anderson.
Sean Wallace is cast as Harold Hill, Emily Flynn as Marian Paroo, Chris L'Hommedieu as Marcellus Washburn, and Mitchell Clyde Thomas as Mayor Shinn. The barbershop quartet features James McKinley as Ewart Dunlop, John Guy as Oliver Hix, Dan Crawford as Jacey Squires, and Dan Burgess as Olin Britt. The cast includes Andy Dolci as Tommy Djilas, Jackie McDonald as Mrs. Paroo, and Dashiell Legawiec in the role of Winthrop Paroo.
Sue Caron is cast as Eulalie M. Shinn, Emily Thompson as Zaneeta Shinn, Madeleine Vaillancourt as Gracie Shinn, and Genevieve Vaillancourt in the role of Amaryllis. Debora Bishop is cast as Alma Hix, Lucy Poland as Maud Dunlop, Carly Georgen as Ethel Toffelmier, Bre Allard as Mrs. Squires, and Greg Judd as Charlie Cowell.
The adult ensemble includes Jane Mitchell, Nancy Kenneally, Charlotte Morin, Chip Groover, Peter Cyr, Connor Crawford and Dan Dostie. The teen ensemble includes Bailey Michaud, Chantal Cyr, Marie Pittman, Maria Groover, Maddi DuBois, Hayden Thomas, Heather Pape, Amy Cote, Allyson Boilard and Margaret Brown. The youth ensemble includes Brock Rancourt, Lyra Legawiec, Joshua Allard, Julia Groover, Ansley Watson, Lauren Jorgensen, and Makenzie Finnegan.
