Peter Strauss and
Michael Learned.
THE OUTGOING TIDE takes place in a cottage on Chesapeake Bay where Gunner (Rhys) has hatched an unorthodox plan to secure his family's future but meets with resistance from his wife, Peg (Lacey), and his son, Jack (Guimont), who have plans of their own. As the winter approaches, the three must quickly find common ground and come to an understanding - before the tide goes out.
Good Theater's production of THE OUTGOING TIDE will move intact to the South Carolina Rep in Hilton Head, SC following the Portland run. It will play for an additional two weeks April 28-May 11.
Still to come at Good Theater is the world premiere, Underwaterguy, written and performed by
Stephen Underwood. Underwaterguy plays April 2-13. Previously this season, Good Theater presented the Maine premiere of Clybourne Park by
Bruce Norris, the New England premiere of
A.R. Gurney's The Grand Manner and the Portland premiere of Becky's New Car by
