The Freeport Players in Maine have announced a call for auditions and volunteers for upcoming productions.

AUDITIONS: One Act Showcase
January 31 & February 1, 6-8pm, Freeport Performing Arts Center
Performance dates: April 9-25
Roles for men and women in a collection of comedies. Directed by Sara Stelk and Mike Clements.
Actors will be asked to cold read excerpts from the plays.
A complete list of the plays and roles is available at www.fcponline.org. Additional questions should be sent to Elizabeth at info@fcponline.org.

AUDITIONS: I Hate Hamlet
January 31, 6pm, Freeport Performing Arts Center
Performance dates: July 15-August 1
Breaking with tradition, we are holding special auditions for the two male lead roles - John Barrymore and a soap opera star -- in Paul Rudnick's hilarious comedy, directed by Dan Burson. (Auditions for the remaining roles will be held in mid-March.)
Actors who are interested in either role should e-mail head shot and resume to Elizabeth at info@fcponline.org. These will be "workshop style" auditions, so plan to arrive as soon after 6pm as possible and stay for at least an hour.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We are looking for volunteers to join the production teams of our spring one-act showcase and summer play. We need costumers, props hunters, set decorators, stage hands, stage managers, lights and soundboard operators, people to distribute posters, and poster designers. Even if you have already expressed a general interest in some aspect of theater, please don't wait for us to contact you. E-mail Elizabeth at info@fcponline.org today!
