Just in time for Halloween thrills, Some Theatre Company completes casting for, "Carrie The Musical" based on the novel by local author, Stephen King.
"Carrie" is an immersive experience being produced by Some Theatre Company. From the moment the audience walks into the space, they will be entering Carrie's world. Audience members will be inches away from the action and very much part of the story. Unlike traditional productions, this will be a unique theater experience unlike anything theatergoers have experienced before, and perfect for the Halloween Season.
Carrie White is a misfit. At school, she's an outcast who's bullied by the popular crowd and virtually invisible to everyone else. At home, she's at the mercy of her loving but cruelly over-protective mother. But Carrie's just discovered she's got a special power, and if pushed too far, she's not afraid to use it.
After 3 days of intensive auditions, open to the general public, Some Theatre Company announced its casting, a nice mix of new comers to the company and veteran performers. "It's our goal to open our doors to as many local performers as possible; if you missed the auditions for this show, make sure you keep an eye out for whats coming in the future," said Gerry Bard, Technical Director and President of the Board of Directors.
