Penobscot Theatre Company presents A Day in the Life: A Beatles Experience, for three performances only, April 7 at 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm, and April 8 at 2:00 pm, at the historic Bangor Opera House. Featuring a cast of five talented actors and musicians, the multimedia show celebrates The Beatles' groundbreaking career, from Ed Sullivan to Abbey Road.
"A Day in the Life attracted sell-out crowds during its first turn on our stage last winter, and we're pleased to offer another opportunity for our audience to twist and shout!" said Producing Artistic Director Bari Newport. Produced by bassist Morgan Cates, A Day in the Life: A Beatles Experience features Ira Kramer on rhythm guitar, Josh Kovach on lead guitar, Andrew Carlson on drums, and Phil Burns on keys. The song list includes fan favorites "I Want to Hold Your Hand," "Twist and Shout," "Yesterday," "Strawberry Fields Forever," "Come Together," "Let It Be" and more; and evocative video enriches the live concert experience.
