Alvin Ailey Dance Theater at Overture Center for the Arts

Perhaps the defining company in modern American dance, AAADT requires little introduction. But we are lucky to welcome them to Overture Hall at an important point in their history - during the company’s first tour under new artistic director Robert Battle. Battle takes up the mantle of Judith Jamison, who succeeded Ailey himself, and who calls Battle “the creative force of the future.” This is an important moment in the history of dance in America - be a part of it!
