Madison Shakespeare Company's latest summer comedy takes on the twisty turny tricksy trappings of incompatibly compatible Helena and Bertram, childhood friends on very different paths who just can't stay out of each others lives.
All's Well features one of Shakespeare's strongest heroines in Helena de Narbonne, a young woman who risks her life to practice medicine and braves a war to follow her heart. All's Well was one of the last comedies written by Shakespeare and is infrequently performed. After an unexpected one-year delay, who knows when it may come our way again?
Performed outdoors at the spacious Madison Country Day School amphitheater. Bring your own chair and/or lawn blanket for best comfort!
Performance time two hours including one brief intermission.
Rain policy: All's Well will be performed in conditions up to and including moderate rain. In the event of cancelation or postponement, tickets will be honored at a future Madison Shakespeare Company performance.
