The Waukesha Civic Theatre presents The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, running weekends from September 14-30, 2012.
Join us for an interactive theatre experience that puts the audience IN the show! For six awkward adolescents, the Putnam County Spelling Bee is their chance to step up and stand out. A few lucky audience members will join them as guest spellers, making every performance unique. Cheer on your friends and neighbors as they compete against Chip, Schwarzy, Coneybear, Barfee, Marcy, and Olive. No one is a loser during this energetic show, as Mitch, the ex-con "comfort counselor," will tell you. For mature audiences.
The cast includes Paula Garcia, Christopher Elst, Max Kurkiewicz, GAbby Levine, Corey Richards, James Carrington, Kevin Gadzalinski, Jacqueline Boelkow, and Allison Chicorel.
Thomas Weissgerber is the Director, Choreographer, Properties Designer, and Costume Designer. Donna Kummer is the Music Director. The production staff and crew includes: Costume Assistant Sharon Sohner, Stage Manager Katie Danner, Wig Master Anthony Mackie, Scenic Designer, Set Decorator and Master Carpenter AJ Simon, Properties Assistant Shawn Spellman, Lighting and Sound Designer Aaron Schmidt, and Master Electrician Nick Da Via.
