Overture Center for the Arts President and CEO, Ted DeDee announced today that Vice President for Advancement Glenda Noel-Ney has accepted a position with the prestigious Jazz at Lincoln Center.

"Glenda's impact on Overture has been significant, to say the least," said DeDee. "Under her leadership we have reached fundraising goals never thought possible in the last five years."

Board President Betty Harris Custer said, "Our donor base has risen to more than 7,000 individuals and corporations. [Noel-Ney] has been key in helping us recruit 24 Local Legends, including a new couple just this week. These Local Legends have made major gift commitments to motivate and challenge additional gifts from our community."

Gifts from donors to support our Racial Equity Initiatives have brought hundreds of children and their families to Overture events. Most recently, Noel-Ney has been spending more time working with Custer on the plans for raising a new endowment for Overture.

Noel-Ney will leave Overture on April 10, 2018. Bruce Matthews will start in his interim role on the same day.

Both Custer and DeDee added, "To say that Glenda will be missed is an understatement. We all owe Glenda a heartfelt thanks and congratulations to everything she has done to advance the Overture brand and to motivate donors to support what we accomplish together."

Overture Center for the Arts in Madison, Wis., features seven state-of-the-art performance spaces and five galleries where national and international touring artists, ten resident companies and hundreds of local artists engage people in nearly 700,000 educational and artistic experiences each year.
