The Fireside Theatre, Wisconsin's premiere dinner theatre located in Fort Atkinson, never shied away from a theatrical challenge. Whether it be creating magical moving furniture in Mary Poppins, an epic downpour in Singing in the Rain, or a tornado in Wizard of Oz on their theatre-in-the-round playhouse, they succeed in creating dazzling productions. Working in such an intimate space can be daunting when pulling off special effects that were created with large state-of-the-art venues and budgets in mind, but those hurdles have never held the Fireside back.

And now the Fireside shines again, launching Peter Pan into flight in an enchanting land where dreams are born and time is never planned. Equally fantastic is the magic of Tinker Bell, that pesky fairy who zips through the theatre at light speed, pulling hair, and drinking poison. This sensational show will delight the entire family and transport the adults back to a carefree time when we all believed in fairy tales.

Ed Flesch, director since the award winning theatre's 1978 inception, says, "Bringing Peter Pan to the stage has been a decades-long dream come true." Growing up watching Mary Martin perform on television was an inspiration to the winner of the 2015 Broadway World Best Director of a Musical award.

In addition to Peter Pan, the boy who never grows up, and the mystical fairy Tinker Bell, this Fireside production features one of it's larger casts including an enormous, affectionate dog, a clock-swallowing alligator, as well as swashbuckling pirates, a romping tribe of Indians, and slew of rollicking lost boys to weave this age-old tale. This timeless musical fantasy will appeal to children and adults of all ages with such classic songs as "I Won't Grow Up," "I'm Flying," and "Never Never Land."

Peter Pan runs at the Fireside theatre through April 10th. For more information on Peter Pan or for tickets, please call (800) 477-9505 or www.FiresideTheatre.com.
