Discovered by the late Duke Ellington when she was 22 years old, with fifty years on stage Queen Esther Marrow has shared the stage with Aretha Franklin, Bob Dylan, Ella Fitzgerald, Miriam Makeba, B. B. King, Harry Belafonte, Mahalia Jackson and Ray Charles and her velvety rich voice continues to impress and in recent years she has poured her heart and soul into a successful collaboration with German hit songwriter and soul superstar Xavier Naidoo and producer Michael Herberger.
