Filled with both humor and heartbreak, this truly touching comedy gives us a brief glimpse into the lives of these Southern women who are tough enough to play the lousy hand life deals them.STEEL MAGNOLIAS was written by Robert Harling and premiered in New York in 1987. It was then made into the popular 1989 movie starring Sally Field and Julia Roberts. Derby Dinners production of STEEL MAGNOLIAS was directed by Lee Buckholz with a cast that includes Heather Paige Folsom, Mandi Elkins Hutchins, Cami Glauser, Joey Banigan Jones, Jillian Prefach Baker, and Elizabeth Loos.
