Small Time Napoleon will celebrate its "Too Big To Fail" release party to The Kentucky Center's Clark-Todd Hall (501 W. Main St.) on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 8 p.m.

A local band, Small Time Napoleon is a genre-defying group interested in the "jazz standards of the swing-era shine." They have been described as "a mad science blend of western swing, hot jazz and folk" by Kyle Ware of Insider Louisville.

This rare and intimate event will feature Small Time Napoleon's presentation of Too Big To Fail, their highly anticipated third album. The band will also be accompanied by special guests and friends on stage.

Too Big To Fail is the band's most ambitious project yet, featuring a horn section and pianist. The band released their first EP in 2013 and followed up with a second album, Cloud Machine, in 2015.

Small Time Napoleon was originally a duo comprised of guitarists and singers Dan Hardin and Jeff Thomas, who brought in bassist DaVe Neill and drummer Ryan Fowler in 2013. The band was labelled one of "Louisville's 5 Best Local Acts" by NPR in 2014.
