Eddie Izzard is an English stand-up comedian, actor, writer and political activist. He is listed as Number 5 on Channel 4's "100 Greatest British National Comedians" list and won a Primetime Emmy for Individual Performance in a Variety or Music Program for his comedy special "Dress to Kill."

In his New York Times best-selling book "Believe Me," Eddie Izzard reflects on a childhood marked by the loss of his mother, boarding school and alternative sexuality, as well as his current life in comedy, film, politics and philanthropy.

Based on the book, Eddie Izzard's tour will feature a bit of stand-up, discussions of his personal and professional life, excerpts from "Believe Me" and a Q & A with the audience. His show will be an intimate, unique experience for fans.
