The famed American comedian, humorist, writer and radio contributor, David Sedaris, offers never-before-heard stories and observations in this exclusive event, which includes an audience Q&A and a book signing.

Sedaris touts his newest book, "Theft By Finding: Diaries (1977-2002)," with excerpts of his diary kept for nearly four decades. This book shows his favorite entries, from deeply poignant to laugh-out-loud funny and will reveal with new intimacy a man longtime readers only think they know.

Sedaris is one of America's pre-eminent humor writers, who slices through cultural euphemisms and political correctness as a master of satire and one of the most observant writers addressing the human condition today.

Sedaris has written several New York Times Best Sellers, including "Holidays on Ice," "Me Talk Pretty One Day," "When You Are Engulfed in Flames" and many more. He is a three-time Grammy Award nominee, for Best Spoken Word Album and Best Comedy Album.

Sedaris has achieved widespread recognition as a radio host and contributor. He got his start with the radio essay "SantaLand Diaries" on National Public Radio in 1992. Since then he has been featured numerous times on NPR's "This American Life."
