This year, enjoy the excitement and spectacle of Thunder Over Louisville from the comfort of The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts. Take in the air show, fireworks, food and family fun from the convenience of The Center, where the main facility will be open with access to the North Terrace on the Belvedere. The Center will open its doors for Thunder Over Louisville on Saturday, April 21, at 2 p.m. The air show begins at 3 p.m. with the fireworks scheduled to kick off at 9:30 p.m.
Make The Kentucky Center your home base for the day while you stroll around and take in all the action. All guests will be able to take advantage of The Center's restrooms, activities for the kids and access to food service and concessions without waiting in long lines. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available throughout the building. Draft beer, wine and mixed drinks will be available for purchase.
Small Time Napoleon will be performing in SCENE at the Center from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. for adults 21 and older. Family friendly activities include face painting and games for kids.
Chairs will be allowed, though only for setup outside. For safety, coolers and outside food or drink will not be allowed anywhere on The Kentucky Center premises. Pets (with the exception of service animals), weapons and alcohol are prohibited as well.
Access to The Kentucky Center parking garage will be open to the public for $20 on a first come, first served basis. Parking will not be sold in advance. For more information about public parking spaces within walking distance of The Kentucky Center, please visit www.thunderoverlouisville.org.
Tickets are only $45 for adults and $25 for children 12 and under. Tickets are currently on sale and are limited. Pegasus Pins will be sold separately and are available at The Kentucky Center Box Office. The pins are required if you wish to leave The Kentucky Center Belvedere area.
