Actors Theatre Apprentice/Intern Company presents: Ensemble Project #3: "The Rulers of All Worlds: A (Cos)play" on November 30, 2014 at 10:30 p.m. and December 2, 2014 at 8:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. at Groucho's Bar and Karaoke, 935 Goss Avenue, Louisville, KY 40217. RSVP to AI@ACTORSTHEATRE.ORG.

Six outcasts are drawn together by The Rulers of All Worlds: a graphic novel that promises them a greater destiny. Once a week, these cosplayers leave behind their dead-end jobs and drawn-out relationships to become kings, demons, bar wenches and gods. When the creator of their beloved fandom dies, they gather together to role play and remember. However, these friends can only hide behind their costumes for so long. Each must answer for themselves: What happens after the story ends?

Devised and Performed by: Taylor Abels, Josh Bonzie, John Ford-Dunker, Lexi Lapp, Aaron Lynn, Casey Wortmann.

Directors: Sophie Blumberg and Rachel Dart. Producer: Sam Barickman. Production Manager: Megan Arbough. Stage Manager: Sean Ravitz. Dramaturgy: Ariel Sibert. Costume Coordinator: Maggie McGrann. Graphic Designer: Aimee Villiger. Marketing and Media Relations: Caroline Ruark and Hannah Wehlage.

This performance is FREE, but requires a reservation. Call 502.584.1205 ext. 3089 or email AI@actorstheatre.org to reserve your spot. Visit actorstheatre.org for more information.

About the Ensemble Project Series - Every year, the Apprentice/Intern Company produces The Ensemble Series, a trilogy of devised workshop productions. In August, the Acting Apprentices are split into three ensembles and assigned a director and a dramaturg. The groups are given one month to create and develop a new concept for a play. At the end of this month-long period, the ensemble presents a free workshop performance of their chosen concept to the public.
