William Shakespeare's MACBETH opens Savage Rose Classical Theatre's 2012-13 season, running tonight, October 18-28, 2012 at Parkside Studio: Inside at Iroquois Amphitheater.

Savage Rose presents Shakespeare's violent tragedy of loss, desire, ambition, and murder. Macbeth is a great warrior praised by the king for his bravery and loyalty. But persuaded by his wife, he turns to murder to ensure the outcome of a prophecy. The achievement of power comes at a terrible cost as “bloody execution” becomes the order of the day, and paranoia and madness take hold.

This production contains adult situations and bloody violence. Not recommended for patrons under 14.

The address is 1080 Amphitheater Road, Louisville, KY. Tickets are on sale now and are available in person, by phone 877-435-9849, or online at www.iroquoisamphitheater.com.
