The folks at Pandora Productions are at it again as they present a sinfully fun and sharp-as-nails satirical take on our life and times, Parallel Lives - The Kathy & Mo Show, opening Thursday evening, November 5.
Fresh off the heels of Pandora's season premiere, sold-out smash Rocky Horror Show, The Kathy & Mo Show is the acclaimed two-woman comedy by
Kathy Najimy and
Mo Gaffney that debuted off Broadway and later became a wildly popular HBO special of the same name. This hilarious production is a montage of scenes featuring a wide variety of characters, encompassing all ages, genders, and backgrounds, all portrayed in a hilariously insightful commentary on everyday life. From the opening scene with two supreme beings planning the beginning of the world, to two actresses playing a man and woman together in a country-western bar, The Kathy & Mo Show is a celebration of the diversity of modern perspectives from a uniquely female point of view. Upon its opening the show was hailed as playful, post-feminist satire and sketch comedy at its best; two decades later it continues to live up to its original content, delivering a theatrical experience as contemporary, topical and entertaining today as it was then.
