Music Theatre Louisville invites you to the front steps of The Kentucky Center at 11 am, Wednesday, August 4 where the orphan cast of 110 little girls will kick off the opening of Annie! The cast will be singing and dancing "It's a Hard Knock Life", as well as "Little Girls" and "Easy Street" from the show, featuring 12 year old Clarksville native Madelyn Steurer as Annie, Carol T. Williams as Miss Hannigan, Gregg Jackson as Rooster and Jill Plappert Higginbotham as Lilly.
The event is scheduled to last from 11 am - 11:30 am.
The ensemble of 110 local girls from across Louisville and Southern Indiana have all taken part in CAMP ANNIE, a 2 week musical theatre camp created by Music Theatre Louisville and designed to teach choreography, music, and acting! These girls, ages 8-14 will play the orphan chorus during the production of Annie, running August 6-15. Downtown businesses are all invited to take an early lunch and join us for the kickoff!
