· The Kentucky Center joins venues across the globe - on six continents and in over 200 cities -for this incredible festival of brilliant short films. Over the course of the festival, more than 100,000 people will share one remarkable film experience and get to judge the finalists for this remarkable cinematic event.
· This year, the festival received more the five hundred entries from more than forty-eight countries. The ten best shorts are chosen by a panel of producers, directors, and actors, but the screening audience chooses the ultimate winner. Previous Manhattan Short finalists have gone on to be nominated and even to win the Oscar in the short film category.
The festival's mission is to unite audiences across all seven continents of the globe via the most compelling short films submitted each year. One World One Week One Festival is emblazoned within the rings that surround the Festival's logo and it is this mantra that sets it apart from any other film event of the year.
