Local nonprofit Global Game Changers (GGC) seeks to empower all children to discover their inner superpower and improve the world through unique educational programs and partnerships. In doing so, they hope to create the next generation of game changers.

This exclusive event features a conversation with Jan Helson, Rachel Annette Helson and Anne and Justin Walker, the founders of GGC, and Sam Corbett, the executive director of Future Up, Advancing Louisville's Public Schools.

Jan and Rachel partnered with family members Anne and Justin to officially create GGC. Together this family has built GGC on a single equation: MY TALENT + MY HEART = MY SUPERPOWER.

Each of the founders brings a diverse background to GGC. Anne and Justin established successful careers in Washington, D.C. before moving back to Louisville, and Jan is a well-known Louisville business owner, entrepreneur and philanthropist. Rachel is an actress and was the youngest producer in Broadway history to be nominated for a TONY Award for her work on Neil LaBute's "reasons to be pretty."

Kentucky to the World's mission is to enhance our state's image at home and beyond by showcasing the talent, ingenuity and excellence of outstanding men and women with strong Kentucky ties. By doing that, we are a catalyst for inspiring everyone - no matter their age, geography or circumstance - to promote a positive narrative about Kentucky and to become image changers themselves.
