Kentucky Shakespeare Announces Summer 2015 Audiitions

Kentucky Shakespeare Producing Artistic Director Matt Wallace has announced adult auditions for the 2015 three-production professional season of "The Tempest," "The Taming of the Shrew" and "Macbeth."

Auditions are Saturday, Dec. 6 from 9 a.m. -1 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., and Monday, Dec. 8 from 5:30 - 10 p.m. at ArtSpace, 323 W. Broadway, Louisville, KY 40202, in the second floor rehearsal hall. An appointment is required. For appointments, beginning Nov. 3, email Director of Education Kyle Ware at kyle@kyshakespeare.com or call 502.574.9900 to schedule an audition appointment. Callbacks will be at the end of each audition hour and in December/January as needed. Auditions are for adult actors only.

Audition Requirements: bring a headshot, resumé and prepare two contrasting Shakespeare monologues, at least one in verse, with total audition time no longer than four minutes.

Contract is paid non-Equity. Possible AEA guest to be determined. Contract Dates are May 4 - July 26, 2015 - 12 weeks. "The Tempest" opens June 4, 2015; "The Taming of the Shrew" opens June 19; "Macbeth" opens July 3.
