Garrison Keillor's A Prairie Home "Love & Comedy" Tour with FrEd Newman, Rich Dworsky & The Road Hounds, and Aoife O' Donovan is coming to the Iroquois Amphitheater (1080 Amphitheater Road) on Tuesday, September 7, 2017 at 7:30 p.m.

This show is part of the Coors Light Iroquois Amphitheater Concert Series and is produced by Emporium Presents, The Kentucky Center and Production Simple, and sponsored in part by 89.3 WFPL.

In 1974, Garrison Keillor created his popular variety show, A Prairie Home Companion and he hosted it through July of 2016. Keillor has written many books including Lake Wobegon Days, The Book of Guys, Pilgrims: A Wobegon Romance, Guy Noir and the Straight Skinny, as well as The Keillor Reader.

Aoife O'Donovan was the lead singer of the string band Crooked Still and a featured vocalist on "The Goat Rodeo Sessions," the Grammy-winning album. In her solo career, she has recently released a collection of original songs and covers entitled "Man In A Neon Coat: Live From Cambridge."

FrEd Newman is known as the "sound effects man" and is an actor, writer, musician and sound designer for film and TV.

Rich Dworsky & The Road Hounds features keyboardist, composer and longtime Prairie Home Companion music director Richard Dworsky, bassist Larry Kohut, mandolinist Richard Kriehn and guitarist Chris Siebold.
