Actors Theatre of Louisville announces Fifth Third Bank's A Christmas Carol, based on the book by Charles Dickens, adapted by Barbara Field and directed by Drew Fracher. Celebrate the warmth of the holidays with Ebenezer Scrooge, Tiny Tim, and the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Future. A beloved tradition for more than four decades and the nation's second-longest continuously running production of A Christmas Carol, Actors Theatre's rendition of Dickens' classic tale is brought to life with visual splendor and joyous music. A Christmas Carol will play November 20-December 23 in the Pamela Brown Auditorium.

Actors Theatre is thrilled to welcome both veteran collaborators and new faces to this year's production. Drew Fracher returns as the director of Dickens' holiday favorite. Reprising his role this season as the cantankerous Ebenezer Scrooge is John G. Preston. He is joined by York Walker as Bob Cratchit, Sherman Fracher as the Narrator, Whit K. Lee as Krookings and the Fiddler, Celina Dean as Mrs. Cratchit, Taylor Abels as Mrs. Fezziwig and Mrs. Dilber, and Lauren Hirte as the Ghost of Christmas Past. Making their Actors Theatre debuts are Peter Hargrave as Fred, Darren Matthias as Marley, Lexi Rabadi as Belle, and Robert Ramirez as the Ghost of Christmas Present and Fezziwig.

They are joined by members of the 2018-19 Professional Training Company: Amber Avant, David Ball, Avery Deutsch, Rebby Yuer Foster, Josh Fulton, Jonathan Moises Olivares, Ash Patlan, Brett Schultz, Julian Socha and Reagan Stovenour. In addition, this production includes ten local young actors: Olivia C. Allen, Jacob Bukowski, Nathan
Bukowski, Cadence Diggs, Annalise Finch, Kate Hall, Austin Ramirez, Bailey Ramirez, Vaughn Ramirez and Clark Worden.
The production team features scenic design by Antje Ellerman, lighting design by Thomas C. Hase, costume design by Kristopher Castle, sound design by Matt Callahan and media design by Philip Allgeier. Paul Mills Holmes will serve as the production stage manager.
