Trinity Street Players is excited to announce the Austin premiere of The Sunset Limited by American Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist and playwright Cormac McCarthy (whose novels All the Pretty Horses, No Country for Old Men, & The Road have all been adapted recently on film).
The Sunset Limited features two nameless men, referred to by their respective skin color. Prior to the play’s beginning, “Black” saves “White” from jumping in front of a passenger train. All action takes place in Black’s apartment, where the two men debate the significance of suffering, the existence of God, and White’s insistent desire to commit suicide.
