The Angel Next Door, a screwball romantic comedy by Paul Slade Smith, will have its Los Angeles premiere at International City Theatre. The story follows a writer tasked with adapting his novel for the stage, only to discover the “angel” cast in the lead role may not be quite as virtuous as she seems. As chaos ensues, the power of theater emerges as a possible savior for the play, the novel, and the writer's heart. The production runs from June 13 to June 29, with previews beginning June 11.
