Join the Colony Theatre as we launch our Scripts & Sips Playreading Series. A casual, fun, immersive evening, giving audience members a taste of the creative process in bringing new work to life. After receiving over 325 submissions, we are proud to present Fetch by Alex Goldberg, for the program's inaugural staged reading event on November 17th. There will be a panel discussion post-reading for the audience to participate in.
Fetch is a laugh out loud comedy about first year college student Ariel who returns to her barely functioning family for Thanksgiving, where they all learn that her new boyfriend may be the reincarnation of her Golden Globe-winning screenwriter father's beloved dog, or he may be hustling the family.
This program is supported in part by the Community Arts Grant from the City of Burbank.
The Colony Theatre is at 555 N. Third St., Burbank, CA.
