Clara Schumann finished her remarkable Piano Concerto at age 16, premiering it with Felix Mendelssohn as conductor. Our soloist Isata Kanneh-Mason championed the piece on her first recording that was devoted entirely to the composers piano music. Alongside Claras concerto is her husband Roberts towering Third Symphony, led by New Zealands Gemma New, a former Dudamel Conducting Fellow.
