Dynamic conductor Lina Gonzlez-Granadosan artist of considerable rhythmic vitality and alertness (San Francisco Chronicle)elicits the striking storytelling drama of Rimsky Korsakovs colorful Scheherazade. Opening the evening is Nina Shekhars musical exploration of light and dark as well as Paganinis showpiece for viola performed by the LA Phils Principal Teng Li.
