Pasadena Playhouse audiences have had the joy of being the first to experience the premieres of new musicals on our stage before they’ve moved on to Broadway and London’s West End (including such Tony Award nominated hits as SISTER ACT and BABY IT’S YOU!). Start with the charm, romance and wit of the beloved movie classic, add a fresh and lively book by Academy Award nominee Jeff Arch (the film’s original screenwriter), blend in a brand new musical score bursting with heart and humor, and top it all off with the director of "My Big Fat Greek Wedding," and you have a recipe for a theatrical affair you’ll remember forever.
