Queenfest 2024 at Junior High Los Angeles

Queenfest, an International Women's Day Variety Show, is celebrating its 10th show by raising money for Alexandria House, a transitional home for women and children in Los Angeles, and Junior High, a non-profit community arts space prioritizing the safety and expression of female, queer, nonbinary, and artists of color. Queenfest’s mission is to encourage everyone to utilize their art form in the continuing battle for equality and equity.

Performances will include music by Violet and Emmalee Abrams, poetry by Maze Felix, burlesque by Vix Versa, and stand-up by Nina Nguyen and Julia Stone. Hosted by Siri, this promises to be an unforgettable evening!

Join us on March 7th for a spectacular lineup of fierce women and non-binary performers, and enjoy a night filled with laughter, fun, empowerment, and community!

Junior High is a non-profit 501(c)3 community arts space prioritizing the safety and expression of female, queer, nonbinary, and artists of color.  Our physical space, publication, podcast, and other ventures function on principles of radical empathy, equity, and mutual aid.

Alexandria House is a transitional residence and house of hospitality. We provide safe and supportive housing for women and children in the process of moving from emergency shelter to economic stability and permanent housing.
