Founded by acclaimed dancer and choreographer Sarah Slipper, NW Dance Project is “one of America’s hottest dance companies” (WE Vancouver). Known for its “cutting edge contemporary work” (Portland Tribune), this Oregon-based dance company brings an all- original repertory to its Carpenter Center debut. Inspired by Virginia Woolf’s Mrs. Dalloway, Slipper’s reinvention of the classic novel, Woolf Papers, is an outstanding model of contemporary dance—provocative, theatrical, and deeply moving.
