Right before Christmas, it is again time for one of the winter's major vitamin injections: "MOVE" with ODE! Oslo Dance Ensemble is the country's leading company within jazzdans. This year, they have allied themselves with the choreographers Jo Power branch, and for the first time Subjazz Tine Erica Aspaas. The exciting and varied composition of choreographers reflects ODEs focus on contrasts and dynamics. Here's the movement, composition, music – short dance set.
MOVE's movement, both physically and emotionally. All dances are of course moving on one or more plan; for ODE is the whole point. We promise a dynamic show with wonderful dancers, some of our foremost choreographers and delightful music.
The Power Branch collaborated with the ODE for the first time in 1996, and has since choreographed for the company a number of times. Subjazz has worked continuously with the ODE since 1997, first as dancers, and the last four years as choreographers. Tine Erica Aspaas, who has long experience as a dancer in a ODE, the year his first choreography for the company.
