Kentwood Players presents a chilling adaptation of William Goldman's thriller, based on Stephen King's novel. The story follows acclaimed romance novelist Paul Sheldon, portrayed by Aaron Frank, who finds himself at the mercy of his self-proclaimed “number one fan,” Annie Wilkes, played by Juanita Guzman. As Paul recovers in Annie's remote home, he is forced to resurrect his beloved character Misery, leading to a tense struggle for survival. Directed by Kathy Dershimer, this gripping tale runs from September 13 to October 5, 2024, at the Westchester Playhouse.
