Lula Washington is a famed choreographer who has reached unprecedented success. From starting her own dance company to choreographing scenes for James Cameron's hit film Avatar, it seems there is little Lula cannot accomplish. Now the Lula Washington Dance Theatre is set to give us a double dose of dynamic routines. Set to the music of Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan and other prominent artists of the time, "Ode to the 60's" is a unique dance reflection on the decade that reshaped the country and the new number "Love Is" examines the curious ways people pursue their heart's desire.
