Hubbard Street Dance Chicago kicks off Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at The Music Center’s 21st season with three spectacular performances from September 29 – October 1, 2023. As one of the original forces in contemporary dance, this 14-member company will perform a mixed repertory, including Coltrane’s Favorite Things, a work inspired by John Coltrane’s 1963 rendition of The Sound of Music’s “My Favorite Things”, paired with Aszure Barton’s BUSK, a poignant piece centering the complexity of the human experience and performance. Join The Music Center for an exhilarating residency and a phenomenally engaging experience for Angelenos of all generations and identities!
